It is almost impossible to watch a game on TV without commentators mentioning confidence, communication, decision making, motivation, concentration, preparation, dealing with pressure, recovering after mistakes, aggression, managing emotions etc. Sport & Exercise Psychology works with individuals to improve these aspects, the mental aspects of performance that can give you an extra 5-10% on the day when it really counts.

Psychology has a predominantly negative stigma and I feel this is something as a society we need to address.  Maintaining good mental health and self-awareness is key to living a happy and fulfilled life and everyone needs support at times.  The purpose of my company is to increase the awareness of positive psychology, to make psychology something we talk about in a more positive way.  To allow people to really grow into the person and the player/athlete that they can be.   

You can change the way you feel, you can manage your emotions and still keep the fire and passion that leads to your best performances.   

Who Is Henri Saha?

I'm a huge fan of performance in general whether that is in a sporting environment or in theatre, music or the arts.  Football was my boyhood passion which continued to grow into a rather immature adulthood passion if i'm honest! I also hold FA coaching badges and have a keen interest in the growth of Psychology within football. Golf is my other main sport and I try to get out on the course as much as I can and I've recently got back into tennis in quite a big way.  I  lecture at a few different Universities in Applied Sport Psychology, Research Methods and Statistics and have over 7 years of teaching experience.  

Qualifications : MSc Sport & Exercise Psychology (2012) , BSc Psychology (2007), Member of British Psychological Society, FA Coaching Badges (Level 2, Youth Mod 1), ILM Level 3.
